In the afternoon of 25^th April 2019, Dai Tran Gia JSC cooperated with People’s Committee of An Giang province, Department of Information and Communication of An Giang to organize an Information Security Safety Workshop in the 4.0 Industry Revolution.
 

 
 

Attending to the workshop: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Mr Nguyen Trong Duong- Director of Vietnam Computer Emergency Responde Team (VNCert), Mr. Truong Minh Thuan – Director of An Giang Department of Information and Communications, Mr. Tran Quoc Hoan – Chairman cum General Director of Dai Tran Gia Corp, leaders of ICTs department, People’s committees. Attending with more than 300 guests who are official ITs from southern provinces and Cyber security Specialist. 

 

By the development of Science and Technology, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will provide organizations with the opportunity to accelerate the application of information technology to automate many processes due to the ability to connect to mobile device. But with the technology applications, there are more risks of cyber insecurity also increased as more and more data and business operations, storage on the cloud

  

Addressing the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Chairman of An Giang provincial People’s Committee mentioned many issues that need to be researched to improve the effectiveness of the information security (Information Security and Safety) and Human resource investment, leadership to reach the successful of buiding up the e-government
 

Next, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – Vice director of An Giang Department of Information and Communication has presented the report on the results of IT application and information security in 2018. Accordingly, An Giang province has implementing IT application very well to create electric working environment; bringing internet and software applications to education management; Implement data linkages of basis health systems; sharing management information to facilitate medical management. In 2018, this province has launched some tourism promotion activities. Bringing IT systems into local work management aspects at once. Speeding up the implementation of the online axis system and public data (Land data, process a pilot document of civil status management database). An Giang was rank 13 per 63 cities and provinces in buid-up E-government. Ensuring Information Security work by established an information security response team; joining the Southern Information Security Association.
 

During the workshop, all guests have listened carefully to the technology experts who are representatives of: HPE, Techdata, Misoft, Sophos, etc discussing the information contents such as: Safety, information security in industrial revolution 4.0, solution to prevent and control of losing Information Security (IS); solutions to stop and remove malicious code, process to rescue the incidents of Information Security in build-up e-government; advanced attack prevention for servers, workstations; automatically manage security weaknesses for web applications and manage, share the safely information…
 

 

Information Security Workshop in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in An Giang Province analyzed the current situation of information technology application and Information Security work, thereby setting requirements for the region about information security in industrial revolution 4.0. Thereby, leaders of departments, agencies, units, localities inside and outside of the province listened to the advice of experts to raise awareness of Information Security, proactively to propose their solutions, equipt themselve to ensure Information Security in its units in particular, and generally An Giang province in the future. /
