On october 30th, DTG Corp in collaboration with Department of Information and Communications of Soc Trang province held a seminar on Information Security in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at Hung Loc Phat Convention Center.
 

Attending the seminar represented for Department of Information and Communications of Soc Trang Province: Mr. Duong Quoc Viet - Director, Mr. Duong Van Nhan-Deputy Director; Mr. Ngo Vi Dong - Chairman of the Southern VNISA Association; Mr. Tran Quoc Hoan - CEO & Chairman of DTG Corporation (Combination & main sponsor), and leaders of the Department of Information and Communications of the southern provinces as well as officers of information technology agencies in Soc Trang province.
 

      In the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution taking place on a global scale and directly affecting the Vietnamese economy, being applied to information technology is one of the inevitable factors. Along with the effective results, The IT applicability also has many risks by bad attackers, aiming to steal information, cripple the system, or post incorrect information that causes harm and affects the operation of agencies. Understanding this matter, DTG Corp, Department of Information and Communications of Soc Trang province and other IT experts presented some contents about: Assess the situation of information safety and security of agencies in Soc Trang province; review in generally the situation of network information security in the world and within-country; situate solutions to ensure information security for the development of e-government, and smart cities; Overview of data safety and network security solutions in the industrial revolution 4.0; optimal use of firewalls to prevent encryption viruses and advanced attacks...etc.
 

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings many opportunities, but it also comes with many risks, especially the high-tech hackers are gradually developing in different ways and becoming more sophisticated. The Seminar of Information Security and Safety in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 aims to propose awareness and responsibility for officers, civil employees in Soc Trang and the southern provinces on the following issues: information security and safety in developing e-government, and digital government of the province. On the other hand, it provides knowledge and experience for officers, civil employees to apply in researching and implementing solutions to ensure information security at their agencies. In addition, the seminar is also a forum for scientists, agencies and enterprises to have opportunity for exchanging and cooperating on current information security solutions.
 

 

In the GALA DINNER event at the end of the seminar, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of Soc Trang Province, DTG Corporation convinced a total of VND 20,500,000 (Twenty million five hundred thousand VND) from guest agencies who attend the heading event "SUPPORT FOR CENTRAL PEOPLE" against natural disasters.
