The Department of Culture and Tourism of Bac Lieu province promotes Information Technology.

Applying information technology (IT) in government activities is a key factor for the successful implementation of e-Government. Recently, Bac Lieu province has promoted the development of IT into the activities of agencies, in which the people are the center, towards a modern and transparent administration to improve operational efficiency of state agencies, and establish strong socio-economic development of the locality.
In order to serve people and businesses better, 100% of departments, agencies, and sectors have put into use the electronic one-stop system and deployed the modern one-door system information. 100% of departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns have websites providing full information about the administrative procedures. It is also a link with one-door system information, creating favorable conditions for people and enterprises to search, lookup, and monitor the handling and settlement of administrative tasks in the network environment.
 

 
The establishment of the Public Administration Service Center of Bac Lieu is identified as a major policy of the province and a breakthrough in the current administrative procedure reformation. Public Administration Service Center of Bac Lieu province officially went into operation, connecting with departments, agencies, and branches to receive and handle administrative procedures. Although the Center has just been put into operation, the Center has performed its effectiveness, received the agreement and appreciation of people and many enterprises, and contributed to minimizing the time and effort of individuals and organizations. When performing administrative procedures, the settlement of documents of organizations and individuals at the Center reaches timely over 90%.
Currently, the Public Administration Service Center of Bac Lieu province is arranged with 32 transaction counters, serving 18 departments and branches. Receiving dossiers, returning results of 121 work-fields under the jurisdiction of the provincial People's Committee, departments, and branches and 9 areas of vertical agencies in the province with a total of 1,011 administrative procedures.
The main protfolio at the Public Administration Service Center were built and deployed by DTG Corp. The project is including synchronous, unified specialized electronic equipment, and information technology such as: office computer equipment, server system, security system, a shared software system that is automatic, highly open, connected to all agencies, and localities. The system is integrated digital signatures, qualified to perform online public high-level services of 1, 2, 3 and prepare to reach level 4. The information search kiosks, information display screens, surveillance camera systems, multi-function electronic portals, Modern and luxurious office furniture, and equipment.
Up to now, IT infrastructure in Government parties and agencies has basically been built, supplemented, and upgraded. Applications for direction, management and administration continue to be deployed, helping to save costs and human resources, bring high economic efficiency, and promote socio-economic development in the locality.
